Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
LINDIEL is marketing and client-communication software for contractors. It is run by Videcon Group LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what LINDIEL collects, where it comes from, what we do with it, how long we keep it and how to ask us to delete it.
Who this policy covers
Two groups of people. Users are the contractors who sign up for LINDIEL and the team members, partners and guests they invite. Contacts are the leads and clients a contractor works with through LINDIEL.
For contacts, the contractor decides what to record and why, and we handle that information on the contractor's behalf. If you are a contractor's lead or client, you can ask the contractor or us about your information; both routes work.
What LINDIEL collects
- Account details of users: name, email address, role, company, the seats they hold and the date they signed in. Display settings, such as the colour theme.
- Contact details a contractor keeps or receives from its own forms: name, email, phone, city or project address, the work requested, how the person heard about the business, and the messages, notes and meetings with that person.
- Consent records: when a person ticks the text-message box on a contractor's form, we keep the exact wording they saw, the form version, the time and the internet address of that submission. Unsubscribes and opt-outs are recorded as well.
- Files users upload, such as photos, plans, designs and documents, with their basic file details (size, type, date taken).
- Visits to a contractor's tracking links and QR codes. A visit is counted with a one-way code made from the visitor's internet address and browser, mixed with a value that changes every day. The address itself is not stored.
- Error reports from the app (the screen and the error message) so we can fix problems.
LINDIEL uses a sign-in cookie and a few settings stored in the browser. It has no advertising cookies and no advertising trackers.
Information from Google
Today LINDIEL does not ask anyone to connect a Google account and does not read Google Business Profile, Google Ads or Google Calendar data through Google's services. What it does use:
- A Google Ads click code. When someone clicks a contractor's Google ad and then fills in the contractor's form, the web address carries a click code. LINDIEL uses it only to file that request under "Google Ads".
- Public ratings. Star ratings and review counts that a contractor types in, or that LINDIEL's writing assistant finds on public web pages, are kept for the contractor's own market research.
- Calendar feeds. A user can subscribe Google Calendar (or another calendar) to a private feed address of their LINDIEL meetings. The calendar reads from LINDIEL; LINDIEL reads nothing from the calendar.
If LINDIEL later offers a Google connection (for example, to show Business Profile reviews or Google Ads results), it will ask for the smallest access the feature needs and use what it receives only to run that feature for the user who connected it. That information will not be sold, used for advertising, used to train general-purpose AI models, or read by people except with the user's permission, to keep the service secure, or when the law requires it. Our use of information received from Google APIs, and any transfer of it, will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Information from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- Lead ads. When a person fills in a contractor's Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta delivers the answers to the contractor's LINEAS OI account (the job-management software LINDIEL works with), and LINDIEL reads that lead. This includes the answers the person gave (such as name, email, phone and the work wanted), when it was sent, the form, and the campaign, ad set and ad it came from, and whether it came from Facebook or Instagram.
- Link previews. When a user saves a link to a public post or page as inspiration, LINDIEL reads that one page's public preview: its title, description, site name and the address of its preview image. For Facebook and Instagram links this is the page's public preview tags. For YouTube, TikTok and Vimeo it is the preview the provider publishes for that link. The image itself is not copied.
LINDIEL does not use Facebook Login and does not read private messages, friend lists, or anything else from a Facebook or Instagram account.
How we use information
- To run LINDIEL for the contractor: answer new requests, keep conversations and follow-ups in order, hold meetings, organise files and show the contractor how its marketing is doing.
- To draft messages with an AI writing assistant. The text needed for a draft is sent to our AI provider to write it. Messages the assistant writes are marked as drafted with AI help, and a person at the contractor approves them, or approves the template they come from, before they are sent.
- To send email for the contractor and to honour unsubscribes and opt-outs at once.
- To keep the service secure, find and fix errors, and meet legal duties.
Our AI providers do not use your information to train their models.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with companies that run parts of the service for us, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:
- Supabase (database, sign-in and server functions)
- Cloudflare (hosting the app, file storage and video)
- Resend (sending and receiving email)
- Anthropic (AI writing assistant)
- OpenAI (turning voice notes into text and making draft concept images)
- Daily (video meetings)
- Sentry (error reports)
We also share information when the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, with notice to users.
How long we keep it
- Account and contact information: for as long as the contractor's account is open.
- Texts sent to the AI provider and its answers: deleted after 30 days. Only a count of how much AI was used is kept.
- The internal record of each update LINDIEL receives from LINEAS OI: deleted after 90 days.
- System job logs: deleted after 14 days.
- Link visits: only the daily one-way codes and counts; no internet address is kept.
- When a contractor deletes its company, nothing is deleted for 30 days (so the request can be cancelled), and then the company's LINDIEL information is deleted.
Some records are kept even after a deletion request: invoices, payments and tax records, signed contracts and change orders, and consent and opt-out records. They are kept as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. An unsubscribed email address is kept as a one-way code so it is never emailed again. These records are kept apart and used only for those reasons.
How we protect it
Connections are encrypted. Each person sees only what their role allows. Private files open only through links that expire. Secret keys stay on our servers and never reach the browser. No security is perfect; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it (see the Data deletion page).
- Stop marketing email at any time with the unsubscribe link in the email.
- California residents can also ask what personal information we collected, used and disclosed in the last 12 months, and will not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
We answer within 45 days. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are a contractor's lead or client, we may pass your request to that contractor as well.
Children
LINDIEL is made for businesses and is meant only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with its date and tell users of any important change before it applies.
